HWDSB
At Owlware we believe that the most important asset in any organization is the unique skills of its employees and the ability to adapt to change. This need has been more evident in today’s knowledge-driven economy.
Constant technologies advancements coupled with global competition demand that training and skills development become a priority for any organization. The solution was in creating customized web-based courses for the corporate & private sectors, resulting in both a flexible and competent training alternative. Hence, we have become an active service provider for Ontario Disability Support Program and WSIB.
Project SEARCH Hamilton, a program facilitated by the Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board (HWDSB), is a school to work training program for students with an intellectual or communication disability who are in their final year of secondary school. The students learn employability skills through daily instruction and hands-on internship experiences. The entire program takes place in a business site.
